2026-2027 Sewer Payments
Did you know? MSWD Customers can pre-pay their annual sewer service bill instead of allowing it to be placed on their property tax bill.
To avoid having your sewer payment rolled onto your property taxes, customers can pre-pay their sewer bills by Tuesday June 30, 2026.
For more information, please see the following Sewer Pre-Payment FAQs
Q: Is the notice I received in the mail a bill for sewer service?
A: No. This courtesy notice allows you to pay your sewer bill before it goes to your property tax bill.
Q: How do I pay my sewer service fee before it goes to my property tax bill?
A: Please see the pre-payment form that accompanied your sewer pre-payment letter for payment options. Check, Money Order, Credit Card, or Cash (MSWD Lobby only) are accepted forms of payment.
Q: How is my sewer service charge calculated?
A: The sewer service charge for a residential property, whether a single-family residential (SFR) or multi-family residential (MFR) dwelling, is based upon a flat monthly rate.
For more information about MSWD’s rates, please visit Rates.

Q: Why did MSWD put the sewer service bill on the tax rolls?

Q: When is my Riverside County property tax payment due?
A: The property tax bill is billed in two installments due each year, December 10 and April 10.
Q: If I sell the property, can I get a refund for the unused sewer pre-payment?
