MSWD will be performing essential construction work on District owned property in the residential area near Hacienda and La Mesa Drive beginning January 12. The work is anticipated to continue through the end of February 2026 and involves the construction of a new groundwater monitoring well. Water and sewer service will not be affected.
A monitoring well is a small diameter well drilled to collect data on groundwater, measuring its level, flow direction, and water quality. This project is just one of the ways MSWD remains committed to protecting our most precious resource…water.
