Emergency Regulation For Statewide Urban Water Consumption

On Tuesday, July 15, 2014, the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) adopted, by Resolution, The California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 22.5, Sections 863-865 as an emergency resolution to address the ongoing drought conditions of the state. These regulations require urban water purveyors—such as Mission Springs Water District—to implement certain actions related to prohibiting water waste. The Resolution is active for at least 270 days beginning July 29, 2014.

The links below will provide you with information about the Regulation as well as local response to it. If you have questions about MSWD’s response to and implementation of the State Regulation, please call the office at (760) 329-6448.
