MSWD Invites Community to Celebrate
Silver Medal and 55th Anniversary
Desert Hot Springs, CA –
Mission Springs Water District will be receiving its Silver Medal award certificate at a
community celebration to take place on Wed., April 9, 2008, from 9:30am – 10:30am at Miracle
Springs Resort & Spa in Desert Hot Springs.
Jill Klein Rone, producer of the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting event, will be
making a presentation and awarding the Silver Medal certificate to the District. MSWD will also
be presented with a special proclamation from the City of Desert Hot Springs, represented by City
Councilman Russell Betts and City Manager Rick Daniels.
Additionally, MSWD is happily celebrating its 55th Anniversary at this community event and invites
the public to join in the celebration and enjoy a slice of delicious anniversary cake!
What better way to mark a 55th Anniversary than by receiving a Silver Medal – the 6th medal MSWD
has won for its pure, delicious water. The District is proud of its history of serving the 'best
tasting water in the world' and looks forward to sharing its celebration with the community that has
been so supportive of its mission to 'provide, protect and preserve our most valuable resource – water!'
