2008 Water Conservation Poster Contest - Winners!

MSWD held its annual Water Conservation Poster Contest in honor of Water Awareness Month, which is May 2008, and Drinking Water Week, which is May 4-10, 2008.

The poster contest was open to 4th - 6th grades in Desert Hot Springs.  Poster contest supply packs were made available to teachers and over 140 entries were submitted!!

Winning entries will receive the following prizes:

1st Place - a $200 gift card for classroom supplies and a classroom pizza party!

2nd Place - a $100 gift card for classroom supplies and a classroom pizza party!

3rd Place - a $50 gift card for classroom supplies and a classroom pizza party!

The teachers and students in Desert Hot Springs all did a tremendous job, and choosing the winners was no easy task for the judges.

However, the judges stepped up to the task and the First, Second, and Third place posters were selected, and are on display in the MSWD customer service lobby.   The posters will remain on display in the lobby until the May 19 Board Meeting, when they will be moved down to the board room for display during the meeting.  The teachers and students who submitted these placing posters will be awarded their prizes at the board meeting!
